Next Car Detail: from a website fix to a long-term partner

Ace came to WiTEDS to fix problems on the website of his Perth car detailing business. Looking at it properly, the problems were not the real issue. The site worked, but its look and structure were dated, and patching it would have left the business with the same site a year later.

Advise on the business first and the technology second. WiTEDS recommended starting again with a new site and a new brand rather than repairing the old one. We then treated everything after launch as ongoing work, not a finished job, adding each capability when the business actually needed it. WiTEDS designed and built a new website and created the brand around it, including business cards, flyers, printed material and staff shirts. We wrote the website copy so customers can quickly see what is offered, what is included and how to book. Search work started with the on-page foundations and moved to an ongoing monthly plan, with new blog articles written and published for the site. Online booking came next. As enquiry volume grew, WiTEDS moved the business onto GoHighLevel and set it up in full, customising the booking system and the mobile app around how the business runs. Most recently WiTEDS built a custom mobile app for tracking work in progress. Through a monthly website maintenance package, WiTEDS manages the website, makes content updates and adds new service information, so the site keeps up with the business without Ace managing the technical work himself.

Ace started out working on his own. He has since taken on staff and opened a workshop in Maddington, WA, while continuing to run the mobile side of the business. The website, the brand, the booking system, the CRM and the app were each added as the business reached the point of needing them. The search work was redirected from a mobile-only focus to cover both the mobile service and the workshop when the new location opened. The website continues to evolve with the business, supported by regular content updates and monthly maintenance.
